Begin with headphones
Find somewhere comfortable and start at a low volume. A pair of stereo headphones is enough to begin. Speakers and tactile equipment can be explored later.
Sound · Vibration · Meditation
SVAT brings together sound design, meditation, and an invitation to notice what you feel. Digital listening experiences, created by Charlie Winkler in Peru’s Sacred Valley.

01 / The practice
SVAT stands for Somatic VibroAcoustic Transmissions. I call these sound meditations transmissions: a way to explore attention through rhythm, resonance, spatial sound, and vibration.
Find somewhere comfortable and start at a low volume. A pair of stereo headphones is enough to begin. Speakers and tactile equipment can be explored later.
In the private Frequency Studio prototype, you can shape low body tones, binaural tones, rhythmic pulses, and atmosphere. Soften a layer or switch off what you don’t need.
Follow a suggested breathing pattern if it feels comfortable, or simply breathe naturally. There’s no particular experience you need to achieve.
The Frequency Studio is a private prototype. Release and access details will be shared when confirmed.
02 / The original six
The first collection begins with six frequency beds: layered sound environments with different creative intentions. Each offers a starting point for a personal listening practice.
A starting point for settling into the practice.
An invitation to slow down and turn toward the body.
Space for quiet attention and personal reflection.
A layered sound environment inspired by stone chambers.
Rhythm and low tones for an unhurried listening session.
A moment to notice what remains as a session comes to a close.
Intentions describe the composition, rather than a result you need to feel.
03 / From the Sacred Valley
My background is in music, sound engineering, and meditation. SVAT brings those interests together here in Peru’s Sacred Valley of the Inkas.
The Andes and my experiences exploring ancient spaces are part of what inspires this work. Alongside the meditations, I’m preparing introductions that share the ideas, places, and research behind each session.
Some connections are creative or personal; others can be explored through acoustic research. I want to be clear about that difference, while leaving room for curiosity.
“I don’t want to tell you what you’re supposed to feel. I want to give you room to listen, notice, and explore for yourself.”
The next chapter
The original six are the beginning. The wider plan brings together new meditations, the stories behind them, practical listening guidance, and a space to share experiences.
